I was born and raised in New York City. I started doing sculpture, drawing and painting in grade school and, as a high school student, I studied at the Art Students League. I spent time in Los Angeles, where I attended the Otis Art Institute and earned a BFA. Though I also painted, I decided early on to concentrate on sculpture, I work mainly in steel, aluminum, wood and plaster. I presently live and work in Brunswick, Maine.

New York City is the inspiration for the abstract shapes and twisted rusted objects I create. I work in series and am presently making aerial views of imagined land- and cityscapes in aluminum, steel, or vinyl sheets formed over heavy wood frames, In addition to these land- and cityscape, I continue to work on my series of geometric objects. My work has been influenced by abstract expressionism and minimalist artists. I have exhibited in the US, Asia, and Europe. My work is included in numerous corporate and private collections.
