Celeste Henriquez
Celeste Henriquez (b. 1961, New York) is a Portland, Maine-based artist. She received her BFA in Illustration at the Philadelphia College of Art (1983) Illustrated nationally for book publishers, editorial, and advertisers (1983-2019). She has shown at regional galleries and the PMA museum (2014 - present).
Henriquez’s gestural paintings are built from memories and relationships, internal and external. “Exhibiting pieces in ‘Foundations’ touches my experience of home, its deep sense of relaxation and joy.”
