Tom Ryan
Tom Ryan was born and raised in Portland. His work often unites representational and non-representational visual elements to arrive at images with unexpected narratives and distorted, unclear meanings. His artistic interests include environmental degradation; the interaction of thoughts with the physical world; the development of personal meaning and narrative based on the accretion of small moments; and visual enjoyment.
