Carl Austin Hyatt
Carl Austin Hyatt uses classical black-and-white photography to explore the intersection of the human and natural worlds in images charged with emotional and eloquent beauty. Hyatt revisits the landscapes of his world - rocks, shorelines, tides, horizons - knowing that perception is a living choice created anew in each encounter.
Hyatt’s work was featured in the solo exhibition “Salt/Sea/Stone” in 2017 at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art.
