Dean McCrillis is an artist and painter based in South Portland, Maine. His work is guided by his experiences and connections with people and wild places. He was born raised in Western Maine. Through family and friends, he was introduced to the intensity of the state’s dense wilderness. His most recent body of work is a reflection of these experiences developed through experimental process and memory.
