Curated by Bruce Brown, Out and About Maine celebrates one of Maine's best known assets: the great outdoors. While this typically conjures images of beautiful vistas and recreational activities, Maine's outdoors is also important to the state's industry and commerce. While no show can capture both the full majesty of Maine's natural landscape as well as its wide array of human activity, this exhibition attempts to weave together the rich tapestry that one experiences when out and about in Maine.
