Tim Greenway: Mackworth Island Transformed
Rocks Reimagined
About The Show
Tim Greenway’s Mackworth Island Transformed: Rocks Reimagined explores the transformation of space within the context of both the physical and the psychological. Using the popular location of the rock formations near the pier on Mackworth Island in Falmouth, Maine as the subject matter, Greenway captures imaginative landscapes by detailing the island’s geology. Focusing on the micro-ecology and transforming the familiar coastline into an abstraction of color, texture, pattern, and form, Greenway reimagines a recognizable setting. The landscape transforms into detailed and abstracted images that reflect personal exploration as an escape from literal reality.

Aluminum Prints
The photographs are printed on aluminum through the process of dye sublimation. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the images will take on an almost magical luminescence. Like all photographs, the prints need to avoid constant direct sunlight. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily. Water can be used to clean the print without harming the surface. Using a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print is recommended. The mid-gloss print surface provides intense vibrant colors and detail with a reduced glare surface. A 3/4" inset frame on the back of each photograph creates the appearance the image is floating away from the wall when hung. Each print features a wire hangar making the installation process simple.
Aluminum prints come in three limited edition sizes (edition size of 15):
16” x 24”: $650
24” x 36”: $900
30” x 45”: $1,250
