Chris creates the print elements using collagraph plates and monoprints from hand-cut stencils. These unique prints are frequently cut out and layered a top of each other, allowing room for intention and improvisation.

Chris earned her degree at Bates College and has work in the public collections of the Farnsworth Museum of Art, Portland Museum of Art,New York Public Library, Bowdoin College Museum of Art and Colby College Museum of Art. She is an active member of Peregrine Press and the Boston Printmakers.
